Assume:

90% & > = A

80% & > = B

70% & > = C

60% & > = D

< 60% = F

Improvement counts and your score on the final will weigh heavily when evaluating improvement.

The paper and botanical garden trips are required in order to pass. Attendance is also required. Two absences may be made up within two weeks of the absence by supplying notes for the day missed.

A substantial deduction will be made for any assignment or requirement that is late or unfulfilled.

No makeups for any reason. Don't ask.

* In order to receive a passing grade, attendance will be factored in, the field trip is required, and so is the paper. If any one or more of these is unsatisfactory, you cannot pass no matter what your point total is in the class.
